Mission Projects

Rachel Brown, one of Mills River Presbyterian Church's own youth has been selected to participate as a Young Adult Volunteer in Kenya.  Her last Sunday was August 24, 2008, where she received a special "commissioning" during the worship service that morning.  Rachel will be stationed in Kenya for one year.  While there she will  work with a church or organization and help to develop Christian community and meet regularly for prayer, Bible study and participate in vocation discernment with other Young Adult Volunteers.
